Second part of the oriental "Ellison Collection" comes under the hammer on 4th September

Hegartys of Bandon will conduct part II of the Ellison oriental collection at their auction rooms on Sunday, September 4th at 4pm.  The auction will include approximately 300 lots of Chinese and Japanese porcelain, ivory, objects d’art & vertu, including items from the Song, Ming & Meiji periods.  Satsuma, ivory, jade, cloisonné, Japanese watercolours & scroll paintings will feature.  Also included is a one-owner private collection of 19th century & 18th century Irish glass, to include a rare 18th century Cork decanter.  A selection of Victorian, Georgian mahogany and walnut furniture, English & Irish silver, George I writing bureau circa 1720,  2ft 6ins wide.  A Georgian Irish plate bucket, a Cork longcase Grandfather clock.  Viewing takes place on Friday 2nd from 11am to 5pm, Saturday 3rd from 11am to 5pm, and on Sunday, from 12 noon to start of sale at 4pm.
