September Sale – a promising start to Autumn 2016

Hegarty’s September sale takes place at the Auction Rooms, the Bypass, Bandon on Tuesday 13th September 2016, with public viewing hours on Friday, 9th Sept 12-8pm (late viewing), Saturday, 10th Sept 12-5pm, Sunday, 11h Sept 2-5pm, Monday, 12th Sept 12-5pm & Tuesday, 13th Sept 12-7pm when auction starts.

Among the highlights is a collection of 4 works by the late Cork artist Patrick Scott (1921-2014) mainly oils on canvas, all signed. The paintings come from a private, fresh-to-market collection, of the late Barbara Harte, of Sweden, an artist and weaver herself, who purchased the pieces over a period of 30 years, some directly from the artist, and some from various Dublin exhibitions. Three are framed in the Dawson Gallery typical linen-mounted frames.
